Why We Exist
About Us
Why We Exist

Over 425,000 missionaries are working cross-culturally across the globe. Many of them are inadequately prepared and supported, as demonstrated by the high a number leaving the field prematurely for avoidable reasons. We want to change that.

Our vision is that anybody who goes to the mission field should be properly trained, well resourced and wholeheartedly supported. We provide community, resources and courses for crossing cultures effectively together. From discerning your calling through to re-entry challenges after returning home, we have every stage covered.

Don’t do it alone! We are stronger together, which is why we have created an online community for anybody serving in or supporting cross-cultural Gospel work.

We also have an Chinese-language site. Check it out here.

Our vision is that anybody who goes to the mission field should be properly trained, well resourced and wholeheartedly supported.

Biblical Mandate
Sharing the Truth

To know this truth and experience this abundant life, someone needs to share this truth with the world.

The Bible has many examples of people being asked to GO by God:

  • Abraham and the Promised Land (Genesis 12:1 NIV)
“The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people, and your father’s household to the land I will show you.”

  • Jonah and Nineveh (Jonah 1:2 NIV)
“Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it because its wickedness has come up before me.”

  • Moses and the Promised Land (Exodus 3:10 NIV)
“So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.”

  • Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch (Acts 8:26 NIV)
“Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

  • Paul and Barnabas (Acts 13:3 NIV)
“Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on Paul and Barnabas, they sent them away'”

Along with going, the Bible also emphasises the need to send and support those who go. This is kingdom business, and whatever role we are called to play, our prayer is that we are all resourced to do our part well.

Our mission at FieldPartner is to see the church equipped, empowered and resourced to fulfil the great commission whether they play the role of ’senders’ or ‘Goers’

FieldPartner is not aligned with any single agency or denomination. We desire to reach across these boundaries to train and support anyone who has heard God’s call to the nations. FieldPartner International is for anyone who may not be sure where they can turn for that kind of help.

Biblical Resources
Foundations

In this ‘Foundations’ section, we talk about the spiritual life skills needed for longevity in missions – a strong walk with God, knowing how to lay hold of His Word personally and understanding spiritual warfare.

“If the missionary has no roots that have burrowed deep into Jesus in the hidden place…they will not be able to stand in the, often hostile, public arena.”
